I love karas designs and you have done a great job with these-love this idea
Thanks everyone!
Sewhobby - the piecing is my own as I wanted to match some things I had with that fabric, so cut a few of the "not square fabric squares" that are on the right (which ended up knocking me off spacing wise a bit - I hadn't checked how "not square" the fabric design was). The quilting stitches are from a Five Star fonts set "candle mats" that I have. I like to make them as large as my hoop and use the hoop outline to tack down my binding strips. Sometimes I use quilting stitches from Embroidery Library sashiko sets. I keep a Flickr album that has a lot of the mug rugs I've done http://www.flickr.com/photos/ceod... .
Loved looking through your pictures! Where do you live? It is really beautiful!! Love your work!!
I like the big side and little side type of rug. They look fantastic!
These are really lovely - and will make excellent mugrugs. Nicely done!
