I wonder if (on the peg board) you used curtain hooks the thread would hang up almost like the other holder. It's a thought..

Looks great! I would like to see the hooks or connectors he used. Also, it looks like these are regular sized spools? not minis or 5000 m. am I correct?

The spools have 1000m. I have my 5000m in a draw. not have so many. My husband used 6 cm long screws and a nut(don´t know if thats the right word)

Does not thread hanging on a wall become just as beautiful as a picture? I have three racks and still need one more. Someone warned me that thread can dry rot but, I think I have been using it to fast for it to do so. You have a sweet hubby and friends
