Nail File Cases...Here are two different size cases for nail files...the center is for the large 7" x 3/4" large nail file and the two on either side are for the standard 6" metal nail file...I made this pattern for Loralye as she was looking for some small items for a spa boutique...I hope you like these, Lor!

These are so lovely. I love the idea that you can make several in one 5 x 7 hooping. Do you have a site where you sell this pattern? I would love to be able to make them for a favor gift for an event that I have coming up. You are very talented!

this could be one for 'You Embroidery' the sister site. It is lovely, and we all use nail files.

really love this idea, great for our purses, as you will find this so much more easier than just the file laying in the bottom of the bag. they all look so lovely, saw this post yesterday, occasionally miss a day or two here on Cute, nowadaz.

Excellent piece. I will keep my eyes open for the files, because it really is a neat gift idea. You can use manly fabrics too.

Beautifully done!
I am sure Cuties wish the DBC opens again soon. I hope this is one of the items you decide to share with us all when the DBC does return. Until then, I hope everyone will wait patiently.

Thank you...and patiently waiting for DBC to re-open...when it does, I would guess there will be a flood of new files that will be posted...

Thanks so much to all for your kind comments...and for airyfairy...yes these were done totally ITH...the smaller ones were done in the 5x7 hoop and I put four in one hoop....the larger was done in the 8x8 hoop getting five in one hoop...very fast to do...and I also found metal nail files at the dollar store...four to a package for a buck! A friend has asked me to do these for her as party favors for a bridal shower...

...and it would also be great for shorter knitting needles...like the four you use for socks...keeps them all together and not poking through anything...

mjene by mjene 01 Aug 2015

knitting needles! awesome - was looking for things like that for my knitting bag.
