Can you send some of the rain over here ? It rained lightly last night for awhile ,the 5000 litre tank is still only abot 1/3 full ,the grass is either the colour of straw or dead. Green grass only occurs where it gets the afternoon shade & the grey water from the washing machine.
Last year was the warmest on record.

We had our winter snow last week.It was a 2 day event meaning it snowed 1 day and melted the next. It's all gone although still cold. That is why I live in Texas. Take extra caution if you must go out and be careful even when walking. A slip and fall is something you don't need. Stay warm spring is lurking just around the corner.

I live west of Portland and housebound with so much snow and now freezing rain makes ice on top of it all. At lease here it doesn't last very long. So, there's always a blessing in everything.

Stay in, stitch and stay warm. That is what I have been doing for several weeks. It has been cold and snowy here in Pennsylvania.!! Hugs, Mary

I hope you saw Atlanta get shut down for 2" of snow/ice. It's not so much we don't know how to drive in it (O.K. we don't) but we don't have removal and emergency equipment. It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars for the equipment for once every 5 years sometimes.
I would think Oregon would be prepared for this kind of weather, but in any case, you have my sympathy. Stay warm!

Please be very careful. I think February is just going to be a difficult month. Even Florida is having a terrible time of it.

That's amazing Deanna, and here I am sitting in my loungeroom with our fan on as it's so hot! Love Chris

P.S. I hope you don't get snowed in and can't access your car etc.
