If you decide to purchase this software, you can get it at a significant savings (mine was about $1700 3 years ago) in person at a Floriani event. As far as I know, this is the only software that is not machine dependent AND you never have to pay for updates (No $500 surprises.). Bonus - five free well digitized designs each month, plus about 240 designs from the previous 4 or so years. It was a happy decision for me and I don't digitize much.
