looks very good to me - embroidery design is too cute! It only took you longer because it was a new pattern to you. the next dozen will be so much faster!
Thank you but I do not think there will be another one unless it is much smaller
Very pretty heart Sarah! I really like the applique too!
It's very pretty! Hubby's are sometimes unimaginative. lol!
Since you have closed it up already, spray it lightly with your favorite scent and put in your car or drawers (where you store your clothes, hehehe) or make another one and drop them into your sneakers.
I think I am going to open it up and use more stuffing so I can use it as a pin cushion.
Beautiful hearts do you make. And in 10 minutes? I think that I can not do that.
I made one too after seeing all of those posted, and I asked myself "What am I going to do with this?' So I made a new pattern that was much smaller, sewed it up and filled it with rice and now I have a cute little pincushion. The original was way too big to be a pincushion and I couldn't think of any other use for it.
I love it Sarah!~Hugs Loralye~ PS tell hubby not to worry about it. A good gift idea for your sewing friends too, just saying..........how about instead of a bow?
Thank you Loralye - As it is I really cannot think of a use for it. A smaller one might be better.
MEN******that made me smile cause i too hear that often hugs and nice big job
Well, I think you should wrap it up and give it to your husband for Valentine's Day - hehehe, what do you think!! Well done, Laura*
Your little hearts ARE really cute. I too had tough time with the knot. However, mine did take about 15 minutes. Check out mine garden project, you will see that my comment is so similar to your comment. I filled mine with rice, the pins (pin cushion) just slide in so nice.

Lol! A lovely morning on Cute! I did not have a pattern so I drew my own, Your looks so much better than mine and your knot is perfect. I see the pins, Pincushion?
Thank you Christine. Who knows what I will use it for. It just makes me smile.
What a huge heart that is Sarah, I think I'd use it as an arm rest too. No honestly, it's lovely and I know you could put pins in it, but they may get lost he he he! Sorry, I'm giggling as I'm writing this, tongue in cheek! You know I love you, kissy, kissy! It's so hot here too but humidity is worse! It's nearly midnight and I've got the fan blowing on me whilst watching the Sochi Olympics. Our Torah Bright has just been on with her half pipe ride and is in first position for this heat at the moment. Love Chris
It just looks hilarious to me. It's actually is not that big - still rather big for a pin cushion needless to say. We have also been enjoying the Olympics, especially the skating. Very hot here. Just wish we could have a bit of rain. Hugs Sarah
I think it's lovely. If you do not want to stick pins in it you can always use it to rest your left elbow on when working at the computer. Hugs
That's a brilliant idea. Thank you. Hope you are having a cooler time than we are having here in Knysna
I think it turned out beautiful, Sarah, I have a feeling it would be a day long job for me.......LOL!
I can tell you that I would never be able to do this in 10 mins. Thank you Vicki for taking the time to comment.
It looks good, I like the fabrics you have chosen.
Hugs, Lidia
They look great at least you tried I have not even tried yet just dont seem to have the urge to sew at the moment dont know whats the matter with me
You know what Carol - I think we all go through times that we do not want to sew. You are here, one step in the right direction.
I think they look great...mine was a flop, into the trash it went...Will try again tho.........love the bottom blue fabric too
It is very pretty with that heart applique, use it as a pincushion? I think Sue's secret is that she digitised it first. I did that too and it took me about three quarters of an hour to digitise the thing, include a design, hunt for the fabric, stitch it, take a picture, turn it, stuff it, tie the knot and take a second picture.
Finding the fabric took the the longest!!! Thank you Martine for your comment. Sarah
Correct Martine - and I didn't decorate mine so it was only one line of stitching!
