Well I'm home again after having my gall bladder removed yesterday. Thanks for everyone's thoughts & prayers. I'm quite sore at the moment but only had key hole surgery being 4 incisions/12 stitches. I had to fast after a light breakfast y/day from 6.30 am & didn't eat again until this morning. I finally went to surgery at 5.15 pm & was apparently lucky as I heard someone say it could have been postponed. I've given out flowers......

So glad it's over, and you're on the mend! Take it easy, don't overdo, rest and get feeling like your old healthy self again. It must be such a relief to have it over, and not have that pain any more! Hugs, Marji

Been there and done that and have no gall bladder to prove it! Take it easy.... Although you only had key hole surgery it is still a major op. Be kind to yourself and you will feel much better in no time. Best of luck xxx

Be careful you don't "chub" up - food is going to taste SOOOO good now that the gallbladder pain in the side is (mostly) gone. So glad it was the easy surgery, though no surgery is - I got a 17" zipper down my front AND the surgeon was not as neat about embroidery as I am! Fast healing.

Congratulations, another job completed. Now you can eat all the things that made you ill in the past. The down side is that they are all the things that we love, like chocolate and cream cakes. Hope you recover quickly and feel 100% soon...........Ann
