I needed something to compliment my entrance so I made a tree from scratch. I used a dead limb that I found in the bush, I let the limb dry for a month. I secured the limb in plaster of paris in the pot, drilled hole in the limb and insert each branch in the holes and added a little bit of glue from my glue gun. In real life it is stunning. A settlement crack appeared in my kitchen plasterboard, opening up about 2 mm right across the ceiling, an 8 ft span. We could not disguise it with filler or paint so... shall I go on???...........Ann

I bought a couple of of bushes from Micheal (craft store) you know the kind that has many stems, took each stem apart and voila.

Actually it was easy. You let the branch set in the plaster of paris and use a drill and just drill holes all down the branch.
