This quilt is gorgeous! Beautiful use of colors and design.
Love the colors and the pattern!! But from being draped on the couch, I can see it's pretty big, must have been a bear to quilt on your machine! I understand wanting to do things a bit smaller, easier to handle. But still, it's really lovely. Hugs, Marji
Thank you. It's only a single size, about 63" x 75"' and the sofa is a two seater ! I was dreading having to quilt it, but I watched a tutorial on how to put a large quilt through a domestic machine and it was brilliant ! As I had to quilt rows going down, then across, I put it under the needle halfway across, then worked to the right, then turned it all around, and worked to the right again, made it so much easier to do. Putting the binding on was the worst bit, I had to cut 280 inches of 3 inch wide fabric, when it was all joined, press it in half, and then machine it on, mitring the corners, big sigh of relief when it was all finished !!
you have done great jobs on your quilts. I love to make tops, but do not like putting them together. LOL!
Awesome job. Love the jewel tones off-set with black. Thanks for sharing.
Very interesting and really pretty pattern with your squares! Flowers!!
yeah you say that now, what happens when you just happen to see a pattern or a fabric that takes you by surprise? Lol! Your quilting is phenomenal. don't stop!
No, I mean it this time, small things in future! Thank you for your remarks.
Nice, how the colors matched with the black. Have you quiltet by machine?
