What a great quilt and colour selection for a man. It's really interesting - I love the way you've given the quilt 'life', using the fabrics in different ways. Did he love his pressie?

Excellent quilt, So it was done quilt a you go style?
Thank you so much. It was not quilt as you go. I used a 200 x 200 hoop and hooped each square. I combined the friendship star and friendship star corner designs from Embroidery Library to fill the hoop size. Then I stitched in the ditch around each square and borders.
