my friend that showed me how to use my frame ,first said oh it has square rails (her one has round), but after using it she thought you got better tension when rolling your quilt ,maybe that's the answer

Toogie ,its my old 8000 , the throat is not as big as I would like , but my 6600 doesn't fit on the base ,my quilt area starts of at about 5" and ends up about 3,1/2 " as the quilt rolls up in the throat mso far I have mainly done stipple. When we get back home hubby will see if he can put a bigger base on the carriage to put my bigger throated machine on

Hi,my electricity was off again for a little while and I had just began to read the post-This is great.Questions,questions.Tell me,is this your own emb machine or did you have to buy a special machine for this? If it is ,do you have to have a certain size emb field?

Very Cool! So you move the machine to where you want to stitch?

It rolls down the bars side to side, then you roll the quilt to the next section.
