Another (experimental) fabric box. I made this one ITH. The inside is quilted and the outside fabric was added in the same way as on the self binding blanket. I stitched the corner flaps together and through the button, which creates tiny pockets.

I'm quite pleased with it. When I make another, I will use thinner wadding and ordinary cotton fabric. This one is a light weight furnishing fabric and is a bit too bulky for this size. (200mm square hoop)

It has lots of eye appeal too, all these boxes are fabulous! I love seeing what everyone is coming up with. I would say this is more contemporary?

This is very neat -and great buttons. I once made someone a tablerunner and she draped it over a small table by the door and used the pockets created where the points are sewn to hold her sunglasses and carkeys :)

Another lovely basket. I love your butterfly buttons!
I used an upholstery fabric on the outside, cotton on the inside and no wadding, just a cutaway stabiliser. It resulted in a sturdy enough sandwich to give a rather sturdy basket. I like quilting ITH too, but my largest square would also 200x200mm,

Your inventiveness, talent and generosity never cease to amaze me. The other thing that amazes me is how much you and many of the other cuties are able to produce such a volume of projects day after day. It must be your full-time job! Sincere thanks for all you do and for being a familiar, friendly face every day.

Thanks for those kind words - I only spend a couple of hours each day in my sewing cave.

This is lovely!
The amount of thought that goes into an ITH design makes my head spin...
I love how your brain works! So very creative

This is nice, how big is it now?
It will be great as giftbasket, filled with soap, shower gel and other things for the bathroom, or filled with goodies.
