I have no Link for the pincushion and so I will show how to do this. (I learned it in my patchworkclub)

1. This is the finished pincushion.
2. You need a white and a second square. In the second square must be an opening.
3. Sew both (right sides together) and turn through the opening, then sew along the black line (this line shows also, how big the pincushen will be)
4. Iron it as shown and stich the white parts down (this is a bit tricky)
Stich the corners together and fill through the opening, close the opening and add a button.

For cfidl: If you want to make a pillowcase from the squares you must at first instead of the opening add a zipper along the dark blue squares.

If you Google Cathedral Star Pincushion it will bring a lot of variations of this designs. Also here's a link for a tutorial for it along with a lot of other pincushions to make.

Now I will try a cushion cover, 40x40 cm, only two colors (white and beige), matching my tabletoppers, with some embroidery.

Thank you for this tutorial. I think I must make the pincushion before I tackle a pillow. Love the design.

Thank you for sharing - can you please say how big the 2 size squares are cut?

How ever you want, I take: finished size (black square on the white) x 1,4cm
If the pincushion measures 5cm then the squares must be 5 x 1,4 = 7cm

Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you for your tutorial. Love this pincushion.
I haven't understood exactly all the steps, where is the opening and from where you fill the pincushion. Maybe I have to read your instructions more carefully. Thank you.

The opening is, where the pencil is. This opening is for turning and stuffing.
