We got over 8 inches of snow in MN yesterday. The trees are beautiful. We have piles of snow all over the place. Hope we have a slow melt. Hope everyone in the severe storm area are ok.

Today it is cold. 2 degrees above zero. I think it was -11 when I got around this morning. It is windy and is supposed to blow the snow around. It is to be below zero every night this week. Spring where are you ? I like snow but I think we have had enough this winter

This latest storm was a real mixed bag, it all depended on where you live as to how much snow you saw. I only had about 3 inches but my daughter who lives up north had over 14 inches. There is another polar vortex moving in which this time is a good thing because if all this snow melted at once we would see major flooding.

How is it today? You must really love snow and winter. I prefer to see the pics! lol!

We only had high winds, so I've spent most of the daylight hours picking up culled limbs - one too heavy to lift by myself. It didn't take down my nearly dead pine tree, which I was hoping for! Oh, also had a great deal of rain, so bunches of daffodils popped open in today's warmth and sunlight.

Snow can be beautiful. It depends upon whether you can stay inside and look or whether you have to go out and shovel. Hope it does come our way. We had 18 inch early last week and we're hoping it melts since our temps have gone above freezing now!

Same here on Central MN. We too hope for a slow melt. Don't want any flooding anywhere. And to think the snowest month of the year is still around the corner, sigh!
