I have ARTLINK and there limitations to what you can save as an ART file. I use mine mostly for quick viewing. It works well to send designs to your machine with cable or USB flash drive.

5271Check Ebay for ARTISTA V6 or V7 and see what you find. I found V4 some years ago for very little $'s.
I upgraded to V6 from that which isn't as expensive.

5271Look at wilcom's trusizer. It is supposed to save in various formats, and is free though I haven't used it personally.

It only reads art, just like most software, but does not save to art. Bernina keeps saving to art exclusively to themselves.

Too bad it is so expensive, although it has some very nice feature that are exclusive to thir software. I have been looking for a couple of years now, but can convince myself I'm with buying another brand of s.w. on top of what I already have.
