I love this, I was a mathteacher and like to play with numbers, but as mops says, we Europeans wouldn`t say 3 14.... and so I never would now this without cuties.

I love the play with figures and dates. We Europeans always struggle with the order of day-month-year-hour-etc and would use y-m-d-h-m-s.
For pi I used to know at least 10 digits behind the point, now I only remember 5 - old age creeping up on me or out of practice, the latter I tell myself and I may be right. Telephone numbers i still put in by hand instead of using the inbuilt memory - much to my husband's dismay. He thinks I struggle with its technology, while he is at a loss when he has to use someone else's phone.
My math teacher tought us a looong sentence in French where the number of letters in each word were the digits of pi. I found it far easier to remember the numbers than recollect the French sentence, now I can't even remember the first word, know the second was j' and that's about it ;).
Very clever, but I hate Maths! Failed my first two years of high school and never did it again from the age of 14. And here I am years later doing all the geometry with my patchwork!!! Love Chris
I love it! I'll have to remember that for the 14th. Thank you. :)
