Great project, Sarah! I love the designs your used - just perfect! I need to add these to my "To Do List". Thanks for the inspiration!
I actually copied it from another Cutie as I had pieces of kitchen paper between my pans. Even DH was impressed!!!
is this felt you would buy in a craft store or is it wool felt? does it leave a residue or fuzz in the pan when removed to use the pan?
This is craft felt and it doesn't leave any fuzz or any residue of any kind. You can buy it by the yard at most fabric store.
Actually they are cleaning cloths. I am certainly going to buy some more as being cleaning cloths they are washable.
Very nice!!! My pan dividers are plastic bags. lol! Yes I'm serious. I must sew something this weekend, my project list is so long! I have birthday girls and doll dresses up at the top of my list and Pams book has caught my eye too.
Your plastic bags are about the same as the kitchen paper I used to use. Thank you for your comment
Hi Sarah, I saw these a few days ago too and was reminded of mine. I use brightly coloured tea towels for my pots drawers. (Mainly my Pryrex dishes etc.) Love the designs on yours, very appropriate for kitchen things. Love Chris
Hi Chris - I am thrilled with these. I am going to make Charlotte some. I am off this morning to get another pack of cloths!!!
I will have to check my local "dollar stores" to see if we have such a thing here? I use napkins to separate my lasagna glass pyrex dishes too. These are very pretty with the different colours, hugs Loralye
You should nEVER store your fine china without dividers(paper plates or even paper towels work also)this will cause marks. You can find felt at any craft or fabric shop sold by yard or squasres. handy for jewelery boxes also. Try making pajama bags (w,or w/o zippers)Kids can help just cut out designs*like applique) and let each child glue theirs together.Lots of fun.
Thank you Stella - These cloths are like very thin felt, so very good for dividers.
These are very nice. I have been wondering what to use for the china that stays in boxes. I must have missed a conversation as to where to find them.
Sue first of all put me on to them. Being in the USA I am sure your $ stores would have them.
Hi airyfairy, love how this name flows.
You are welcome for the idea, they come in very handy for anything delicate or that needs to be kept separate. :) you have made my day.
great job. I use these after Sue told me about them .
Hugs Pam.
Very nice divider cloths. Love the cooking designs - they are perfect for this project!
Love the designs you put on these. This is a neat idea.
These are great, Sarah......love the designs and idea!
Great idea. Those cloths have just reappeared here, so I might make some of these as well!
I have had such fun Sue - have made 6 today. We have here what the Americans call dollar store. Wish the cloths were a bit thicker but I can see me using them for lots of embroidery projects.
