Hi Lea, I'm so glad you were drawn to this site. I'm another Aussie living on the east coast of Australia in Newcastle, 2 hours north of Sydney the capital of New South Wales. One of the many things I love about this site is the friendships that have been formed through our love of sewing/embroidery etc. I've met Christie from Germany and of course our Meganne, Pauline (nonna57), Coral (olly) and Tubby! (another man!) One day I hope to meet some of our American cuties. I've been on here over 6 years and have gotten to know lots of amazing women. The different tabs that we can "talk" about things have been a real added bonus. Looking forward to seeing more projects from you. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
Thank you, Miss Chris. I'd like to post a few more things, but have misplace them, in the virtual photo gallery. Oh well they will turn up and this gives me incentive to try new things. I'm still in awe of every talents and sharing ideas on this site. Thanks again.
Aren't first impressions fun (and sometimes misguided)? The important thing is, you found us and we get to know you. Flowering you now.
This is my happy place and it is early morning here in South Africa. I hope you will stay around - greatest place on the web.
Leaha Welcome I am the 3rd Aussie in a row here from Australia, with Sally and Kerry Have had the greatest pleasure to meet them, ( among a few other CUTE cutie who i think very dearly of . ) enjoy a meal together and chat, Although we have distance we always catch up like we were neighbors. Pauline .Sydney Australia
Thank you, Miss Pauline. This is so amazing to me. I look at pictures of your beautiful country and know of several people from my home area who live there. Don't know where but they are still there, so must love it as it it home for them.
that is sweet. welcome here, the more you visit the more you enjoy and yes this is addictive...it is our second home....hugs Kerry in australia
I'm sure I will let myself get addicted very easily, Miss Kerry from australia...who would have thought.
As a new Cutie, I just want to say hi to everyone. I'm just starting to learn my way around. Cuties seem to be a very friendly and polite group, such a refreshing change from some other sites. I wish everyone a great evening and hope to get a chance to chat.
I will say welcome to you and hope you find this site as lovely and fun as I do. I don't think there is anything they can't or won't do to help if it is possible.
Thank you everyone for all the welcomes. I am enjoying reading the posts and glad to see people from all over the world.
I did too, I thought I had found some secret club and couldn't figure out why the number by my name kept getting bigger! It was back when you rec'd a flower when you visited, I think it was every 24 hours. It was well over a year before I even made my first post, but I sure got to know everyone. The site has changed over the years but it is my "comfort" place and am so thankful I stumbled upon it. Hugs...Carol
Isn't this a hoot, I couldn't figure out what they were either or where they were coming from...just assumed magic and fairy dust. Thanks for sharing this.
When I first joined many years ago I thought it was like a local quilt guild only for embroiderers -- I was afraid to post as I thought I would be intruding. Then one day I got brave...The freebies brought me here -- the Cuties keep me here.
Hugs and flowers for all!
Isn't it just fabulous! Any time, any day - there's always someone here. Hugs, Debbie in South Africa
We are all friends - but not all ladies!
Sorry don't know what you mean...but I'll amend this to cuties, is this better?
We do have a gentleman or two that frequently post here. I suspect we may have a few more lurking in the shadows and unwilling to brave the welcome of a newbie post. Dennis could use the company though.
OOOOOOPs sorry mr. Denis999 and any other gents out there. No disrespect intended. I personally had no idea that men sewed or embroidered...in exposure at this end. This is wonderful and again I learn new things today.
Nice...never thought I would have so many friends to support me worldwide!
