The writing is so nice....love it!!!evie
What a gorgeous piece you have created!! Wonderful work!
Thank you, Vicki...I was glad that the white on white showed up as well as it did...
This is beautiful!! I really like the tone-on-tone - that makes it so elegant. They will love this pillow and keep it forever.
Thank you...I have never met the bride or the groom...the groom is the grandson of a very close friend... and don't know their colors...so I just went with all white...
It's beautiful how ever much I try and hoop correctly when embroidering on satin it always puckers a little, It's a lovely keep sake
it is beautiful I love it , I hope my Son and future DIL will want one when they get married in June.
Hugs Pam.
Thanks....even if they do not have a ring bearer in the ceremony, you can leave the ribbon ties off and it will just commemorate their wedding day...
WOW! Kim this is stunning. I should do something like this for Amy's wedding next year! Love Chris
Oh, yes, Chris...with all of those lovelies, I am sure that one or more will be walking down the aisle to carry one..
Kim STUNNING Love it as will the Bride :)
Thanks so much...I hope so! I have never met her..so I have my fingers crossed...
Awesome there is not one thing on these they shouldn't like:)You have done an excellent job hugs
I f you want to make another, my g-sons June too....Beautiful!
The actual design is 6x6...but something similar could be done as a 5x5 design...
Really, really beautiful. It is amazing how white satin and lace can make something extraordinary. What a great job. That little 5 year old will steal the show.
Thank you for your kind words...I thought the heavy bridal satin worked really well...no puckers at all!
Not like my embroidery on Satin it nearly always puckers may be I should try using a heavier satin
Try using an iron on backing for the satin...something like the Pellon Easy Knit fusible...it is also used a lot for t-shirts for a backing...I use it anytime I need to insure no puckers...it adds a bit of bulk, but not really that much...I have even used it in quilt squares that have lots of embroidery on them to keep the cotton from puckering...
This is so beautiful!!! Is this lettering on your machine along with the other embroidery? Or, is it someone's design that is available? I know this will be something that I could use in the near future. Nieces and nephews are the marriageable age now and who knows when I will need this. LOL Thanks for sharing your marvelous work! I always enjoy the inspiration you Cuties give! --Sandra
Thank you so much...the frame is from a quilt block that I modified and I digitized the boullion roses...just because I love them...I digitized the text using two different fonts...it was tricky to make it legible in white and being so small...but I think it worked out well...
Lovely but I can't read your text with these old eyes - what did you say? The fluffy lace is just right.
The text reads: Ari & Heidi...Love is the golden thread that ties our hearts and souls together...June 1, 2014...I thought it was appropriate for me to make as I love to sew and embroider...I do hope they like it...
the writing is beautiful, very nice work. congrats!
Thank you...since I love to sew and embroider, I wanted the sentiment to reflect a part of me as well...as I wish them happiness on their new journey...
Gorgeous! I can't think of any other word to describe it!
