These are fantastic! However, I have yet to sell any of the ones I've made for craft shows. My rule is that I make only things I like. If they don't sell, I always have on hand little gifts!
well this has been ordered so I won't be stuck with any of them but she won't order more if they don't sell. thanks Penny, hugs ** I hope that yours do better
I think you're spot on with the price at $3. I love your packaging. Just a suggestion - go with the one packet of Kleenex, but place it along side the empty embroidered case - that way these would be "self explanatory - 'these are Kleenex cases'". LOL Hugs and Good luck!
I have decided to take them all apart & sell as singles without the spare for $3 each
I would ask $4 with the extra tissues and the seller can add an extra $1 ,
In South Africa I would sell something like this for R50 to R60 (more or less $4.50 to $5.50) It is not even worth setting up your machine for less.Although I must add I do have a steady offset through my daughter who works at home affairs and will tell the buyers just how much work goes into it if they dare complain about the price
well that would indeed be an advantage. thank you for sharing this with us. hugs
You did a well put together package. I do hope you break even. If asked for a next round just say well you got my introductory package. The materials cost more so I must drop the expense of tissue packs but would still sell you the tissue holder for.... and tell her the 2 bucks or whatever so you will at least make little something.
thanks Mary the hard truth here is there just not worth the time it takes to make them maybe I need to rethink this
$2 is definitely to cheap, I also wouldn't be adding the spare packet of tissues, 1 pack inside is enough. Nice work, I have to admit that I have never been very good at the pricing of items but customers never seem to think of all the time it takes to embroider and make up the items. Where I live people, want embroidered items for what the cost price of the everything and expect us to where the cost. Needless to say those people walk away empty handed. Good luck with your pricing!
I think you are too little at $2 especially with two packs of brand name tissues included. Look at all your cost - two tissue packs - four pieces of fabric (if you lined the inside) - stabilizer cost - thread cost - packaging cost (very nice BTW) and some for your time (we never get what it is worth - but we should always get some). I suspect at least $3 to you then her at $4 - which would be a very good price even at that rate. I do zippered versions with one pack of the cheapest tissues I can find and I charge $5 and I don't do the nice packaging you have either. As bianchp said - be sure to cover card processing fees too - if you are taking a card for the order.
Double the price of your material to make each one of these and add the cost of using Paypal or The Square -- however you are getting paid
wow that would be good if I were using paypal but I am selling these to a spa. any thing else that may help is appreciated
Well done. I think $2 is a give away price. Must be worth more than that. Hugs Shirley
Lot of work
$3 you did lovely design on it.
Hugs micheline
i vote $3 bucks and no tissue but show and give her one as a sample(tissue i mean) so she can show others what there to be used for or as.
So she can have one sitting in her cupboard with Kleenex beside it ,that's not really for sale just to show and tell Hugs
well she did see the original with a spare pack so I think I need to stick with the original that she ordered?
Hi Loralye........if you can make at least a little bit after covering your expenses, then go for the $2, just make sure you aren't just breaking even....we all know in this business we rarely, if ever, get paid for our time! Great job on these, by the way......
thanks Vicki, being so I am still sick everything seems to be longer & harder to do so NO WAY I could ever get paid for my time LOL well at $2 breaking even sounds about right, they all have interfacing in them & it took over an hour to make 4 of them sigh.............
Nice job...I think if you sell them to her without the extra pack of tissues for $2.00...then she could sell them to her customers for $3.00...not sure you need the extra pack as an incentive...depends upon how much you paid for the tissue packs...
I think 2.00 is a fair price but without the extra pack. If I was only selling one I would add extrapack and sell for 3.00. They are very nice, I made and sold a few to my friends about 2 years ago for 3.00.
I would think so. $2.00 is almost a give away price and you should at least make a small profit for your material and efforts. May I give a suggestion. Next time make a sample of your product and agree on a price(get it in writing) before you complete the order. Makes everything so much easier.

They look really lovely and desirable. I do not know about the pricing in your country. You must take into account the packets of tissues and the holder's price. I would be selling the same for about R30-00 ($3.00) I will not be including an extra packet of tissues. Good luck. Susie, Durban, South Africa.
