Sweetie, it's your quilt....you are making it, so whatever you want to do to it, DO IT! I love your label AND your quilt.
No, it is Calebs, and I do aim to please. Also, for those like me that hate to always have to reach for a pair of glasses,it is large enough to see without the search-lolThanks
Hi Toogie, thanks for the note you left me, wish you had come here to TN with your family, we could have gone shopping for fabric we ALWAYS need and sewed some of course! I love your projects and you have inspired me so much with them. Cute to see you in your sewing room, hugs and blessings, Penny
They have invited us previously to go,but we have went before on our on ,not during the winter. It is so nice in the mountains, reminded me when we first married and lived in Germany.Maybe we will go again sometimes.
Beautiful work.Nice to see you in your sewing room

For sewilso-my self haircut, self photo and christmas gift necklace.I was concentrating so much,on getting the necklace, I forgot to smile...For Dennis-I had not made my 'sunday go to meetin' hat yet, otherwise I KNOW my daughter would have thought it went well with my necklace she gave....I did ask her if she wanted a hat like mine and the only reply was NOPE !
I also forgot, self wrinlkes, self turkey neck self bags over the eyes...did I forget anything more?-lol
You do yourself a great disservice, Mrs. T. You certainly do not need a Sunday hat and you can tell that daughter of yours that your hat will be the next thing to hit the fashion trends.............
I see none of the 'items' you mention, just a beautiful lady and person. Do miss the hat though...lol
An idea! Maybe I could use some of that ointment eggyannie used to smooth out the wrinkles!
Speaking of the hat..I sent this g-son my hat photo, by accident, when I text it to my daughter to see if she wanted one.My g-sons text read: HAha!haha!haha!- do you think he was laughing or what?!! That is all he text me.
You're a beautiful lady Toogie! Nice job on the hair cut, I kind of whack on mine but then it needs real help! Did you cut the back too, and if you did how did you do that? I've let my hair go all natural so it's kind of steel gray with streaks. lol! Someday I'll put a photo up. My hair used to be brown and I would color too but I don't like having to keep up with it, so just let it go.
Yes,I do cut the back, but it is not easy, mostly by 'feel'.I am having trouble with hair loss.It gets all over everything I put on,unless I put something over my clothes when I fix it.My sister said it is because I double color.Usually I do a lt brown, and then frost it, with the blond streaks. My hubby says it's b/c I color it .Period. So..I have been doing deep conditioning, staying away from hair sprays and will try it gray again.....maybe.My sister says no gray, but I would rather gray hair, than NO hair.My husband doesn't mind the gray, probally b/c he doesn't look at me anyway, unless I am in front of the ball game on TV-LOL.... Did you read my story,I think I told before, about the first and last time I let it go gray? ...Well,I'll tell it for those who didn't read....It was right before christmas that year and my color was growing out.I had a choice to recolor, and that gets old, or cut it real short so it would all be one color. My g-son Mason was about 5 or 6.He climbed up on the vanity, as I was in my bathroom cutting it short, and he ask why my hair was turning from gold to silver.-LOL He watched with so much interest. When I went to cut the back,I told him since I couldn't 'see' would he cut it for me,just where the gold and silver met.He looked so scared at first and then said,"well ok, I'll try". I related this story to my Sunday school class and my friends said,"You didn't really let him cut it did you?" To which I replied,"I 'm not that crazy...YET !" My daughter came in to pick him up and thought that was the best cut I ever got,but she liked it short.I would post it but again I can't here, without going ttt.
Hahaha, you're so funny! I've let my hubby trim mine too, it's so hard to get into to get cut when I'm off so I ask him to trim the back, and he's done that a couple of times. Same is true of us, he doesn't look at me either unless I get in the way of the tv. Then boy howdy do I hear about that! He has his moments though and I would be really lost without him. At work there are several gals who have let their natural color grow out, and they look great, one gal's hair is almost platinum, mine is kind of streaked with several almost black hairs, and a small white patch in the middle but probably about 90-95% gray. They are well earned grays so I'm sporting that look. I do get compliments on my color but I do work with a young man who said Sharon you've let your hair go. I told him no, I wanted platinum hair in high school so it's my dream color, just not my dream face or body. Hahahaha!!! I don't mind coloring but it's the roots that have a tendency to get tedious, it's so easy to not have to do that all the time. I hope you're feeling better, have you had your thyroid checked? I think that can affect hair loss maybe.
You have a beautiful quilt for your grandson. Maybe I'm too different from most, but I like the bigger labels.
Great job Toogie love your sewing room .Hugs as always Carolyn
I love your hair cut! Mine needs cut too, we don't need make up. Beautiful pictures! Caleb is one lucky grandson for sure, wonder how many grandmas has done this for them? Very nice job on everything!
I've been a slacker lately, kudos to you my friend!!! I see Dennis misses your hat! Me too, lol!!!
What haircut?/! I haven't cut it since Christmas.I need to, but I haven't felt like doing it, or going anywhere to have it cut.....This is my last cut and it is took with my IPhone.I was going to church and I wanted to take the photo of the necklace my oldest daughter & SIL gave me for Christmas.Oh shoot,I'll have to show you further up.I can't do anything but reply here and I always forget.Need a color too,but I think next cut it will just be gray or white-LOL
Wow...........a true masterpiece, Mrs. T. I am a little disappointed though, that you were not wearing your box hat for the photograph..............
Thank you, steady work, but no masterpiece, doesn't come close to Avery's christening/dedication gown........He caught me off guard, without my thinking cap, sorry Dennis
