I made this for GD, not as nice as you regular quilters work. I cut strips and sewed together then hand stippled.
I hung it outside to enjoy purple and pink with a spring type day. I saw song birds, couple hoppin robins and as I took picture heard a familiar Honk in the sky. Carolyn your birds are landing here waiting on your area to warm up so they can come talk to you again.

Bless you and thanks for your encouragement more than you know.
Like I mentioned below to Loralye..... you guys need to stop sending your cold and snow and let the South of you all send you our warm and we can all be content. Then you will hear us all complain how hot we are. I certainly hope not. If I do please remind me. That is not allowed.

From listening and watching weather I know too many of us are ready to enjoy. My pussy willows are starting to show their fur. The spring flowers are up out of grass. So signs and wonders of Spring are popping up all over. I am South of you so if you lol will quit sending me snow and cold I will push you up some of much warmer than you have temps and we can get this spring sprung and going.

299559It's very pretty! I don't think there any rules to doing quilts, the beauty of it is some are easier than others. I love it and I'm all about doing something simpler. There is lots of work in this one, and it's very nice and it is one I would want to snuggle with.

Thank you so much! I agree on the label and it is in thought process and I hope to do 5 more between now and Christmas for other Grands. Also have hubby hinting so this is a quilt busy year for me. Plus all my other on goings I don't get bored.
16302First, it's beautiful, second, THERE ARE NO QUILT POLICE!..:) I enjoy cutting material into pieces, and sewing it back together. Tada-quilt. And now I start with embroidery and go from there. Whatever makes you happy makes a great quilt.

Thank you! Just 4 days ago we had 4 inches of snow that was fresh. It is so muddy today but warm enough to do a squishy walk about and enjoy.
