great job...for such a noble cause..
Salute to u...!!!
These are beautiful, once put together and given they become 'wraps of love, hugs of encouragement and hope for a better tomorrow.'
Wow that is so wonderful of you. Both are fabulous! Keep up the good work!
Excellent work! A wonderful cause as well.
This is a wonderful cause & I for one can tell you that they appreciate the quilt more then you will ever know! I know quite a few people who (not only BC but other Cancers as well) have received a quilt during their chemo & radiation & they cry every time to know that someone cares enough about them to give them this wonderful gift of love & support! You are giving more then a quilt here you are giving them hope! Well Done! ~hugs~
I should say that when my sister got hers she was overwhelmed. Due to their procedures she feels the cold so much more then she did before & every time she wraps herself in her quilt she is touched by the warmth & generosity of the stranger who made it.
Thank you everyone for all your positive comments, much appreciated. I am doing what I love most - patchwork and embroidery. I have no grandchildren to make for, so this satisfies my love of sewing, and it's for a good cause, as cancer has touched our family in the past.
It is a really worthwhile thing to do. My daughter received one (not anonymously) and really loves it. It was therapeutic for her friend who had sewed it too.
How lovely and what a great cause, you are so generous to do that!
Beautiful work! I am sure the quilts are very much appreciated.
