Hi there it is a lovely quilt .I have just made 2 table runners with the same pattern . I would love to make a quilt using this pattern . Was it a purchased design ,is so could you post the name of the site ? You choice of colors is stunning . Bunches of flowers for you
Thank you. I did not purchase the design. I did it in a class, and the tutor just showed us what to do, how to cut out, etc. If you do a search for French Braid, you will see many choices.
Beautiful quilt and lovely color selections. Thanks for sharing
Lovely! One of my favorite patterns and you certainly did it justice.
WOW, that is a pattern I have never seen before. Beautiful!!! Flowers to all
I agree with Sue, got to find this pattern! wow this is just lovely! Is it quilt as you go? ~hugs~
No, I did not make it quilt as you go. Just made the panels first, then joined together, then pinned and quilted. A mammoth job on a household machine! Did no fancy quilting, just in the ditch. The centre square has a quilting pattern which I did on the embroidery machine.
well whatever way you did you did a wonderful job & I just love the colours you have chosen! A terrific class~Hugs~
Classy quilt! Note to self, look up how to do this!
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW der ist wunderschön und so tolle Farben
Thank you all for your lovely comments about my quilt. French Braid looks complicated, but in fact, it's so easy.
I wish I had the patience to quilt, your work is beautiful. Thanks for sharing............Ann
