It is a set of softies and I did the bird but without the wings to use as chicks!!!
Love them! Going to have to try these too, thanks for sharing.
Penny, thanks. I left the wings off - I thought they would be easier to hold and make them easier to stitch.
agree with the cute brood, a d o r a b l e
Thank you, Sue - all the other softies in this design pack are so cute!!
It is lovely and I do love your big hoop. Hugs
Thank you, Babsie!! I started out with a EM with a 4x4 hoop, and soon realized I need a machine with a much bigger hoop. It took me years to secure the machine I have now - but, I just love it!!
These are adorable and you will be the most popular grandmother in the class!
Thank you, Jerrilyn!! Just thinking about the feel of the hugs I get from our Granddaughter is enough to want to stitch for her every day!!
They are adorable. Where did you find the design?

What a great project for little ones.........great job!
So very cute. The children in the Day Care Class will love these.
Adorable little chicks! Like you, I love making batches in one go - or clutches or broods.
Thank you, Martine!! Large batches take longer to stitch - but are definitely easier!!!
What a sweet gift for the little ones, they are sure to love them..
How cute is cute, they are great, the kids will love them .
Also called a clutch of chickens. But, a gaggle of geese! I love these terms.
Didn't even notice the missing wings until you mentioned them! These are adorable & the little ones will love them!
You should show Urban Threads how cute yours are!
Oh, Toogie, what a good idea - a great little addition to an Easter Basket!! Maybe I will send a pic to Urban Threads! Hugs to you!
they are so cute I do not have any little ones so I don't make any thing.
Lenamae
Lenamae, how about a neighbor's child or a cousin's child ... or make yourself one!!! Thanks!!
To make friends with all the little girls in your neighborhood, plant chocolate mint near your front door. They'll come hang around to step on it and smell!
These are lovely. The children will be so happy with them Shirley
Lovely brood...In Australia if a chook is sitting on eggs trying to hatch them we say the chook is "broodie". LOL Lyn
Good for you Laura you have done a good job on them all & I agree since they are for wee ones the wings are not needed! Very cute, ~husg~
Laura your chicks look so cute. When I saw them in the NL they did not pleased me but your version is so sweet with your colors. I also like to make designs easier and quicker ;o)
Thank you, Bettina!! Since these are going to young children - I really didn't think the wings were needed!! Thanks again!
That's very kind!! They are adorable without wings and perfect for little ones. GREAT JOB and nice Color choice!!
Very kind of you and yes they sewed out excellent hugs
Thank you, Carolyn!! Took about 1 hours and 45 minutes to stitch out at medium speed - but, quite a bit long to turn, fill and whip stitch the openings!!
Very cute and great idea.
Thank you, Mary! They are made for little hands - so they are fairly simple!
