the yellow sparkle is a nice touch! The piecing of the light blue squares and the triangular edges doesn't look fun! They look perfect!
Thank you ,I only used what I had in my scrap bin for this block ,and yellow is one colour I don't have a lot of If you look at the block itself its only a 9 patch ,so you have 4 ,4 patches on the corners and the light lilac in the middle of the outside sections ,you turn you square on point and stitch triangles to each of the four corners,if that's a bit difficul to understand I will do another block and show you
I am definitely inspired here! Your block is beautiful!! Such precision work too. Very nice.
Beautiful, so glad you could work out my instructions. You are going to be one very popular lady on Thursday. Can't wait to see the quilt. :)
Well done Monika looks like you got the pattern sorted with help from granniebea. Good on you both.
Nice job...this is beautiful...I think you should make a whole quilt with this ... care to make it easier on us and share the directions?
granniebea ,aka Anne made the pattern for me to give the girls in my patchwork class ,she called it Monika's Garden ,thats so sweet
What is the size of the block without the sashing borders? ....Just the 9 main blocks?
WOW, you did it!! Beautiful!! Are you going to make a whole quilt from this pattern? Flowers!!
yes ,I will nut I will need to go fabric shopping first ,I only made this one from my scrap bin
Well done Monika, do you want to share the measurements for this. ~Hugs~ My math isn't what it used to be
I counted about 52 pcs to this blk!-Very, very pretty, but discouraging to me.as I don't like cutting out-BOO HOO....How big does this blk end up?
just think of one block at a time ,or even one corner of one block a a time
Lovely. And your precision is super. I thought the outer pieces were part of the sashing, not of the block, although that would work as well.
They are part of the connecting work Martine but I wanted to give it a try to show Anne
Looks fantastic - I wish I could achieve that sort of precision!
Your quilts are created with such precision.......this one is as beautiful as the others.........
Well done Monika, I knew it would be dead easy. Just squares and triangles. You've done an excellent job matching the corners! Love Chris
