Hope you are having a wonderful visit! Keep well and safe, hugs and God Bless!! ro
Are there different types of scissors in Japan? Some of the ones pictured look a little different from what I have seen here. Suzanne
Another member of the Scissors Sisterhood, uh, and Dennis.
Don't rope me in with you lot............................lol. I'm a good boy, I am!
Great collection Yoriko. Glad you had a good time in Japan. Safe trip to Brazil. Hugs Yvonne xxx
Glad you arrived safely. Enjoy your trip. Love all the scissors. Dennis will be envious. I hope you get some more in Brazil The ones I want to replace are made in Brazill. They are Mundial Brand. Hope I can find them here in Aussie somewhere. Shirley
I am not envious..................just disappointed that you have all been responsible for leading this lovely lady astray!! lol
Love your new scissors! Especially the ones with the purple handles. So glad you had fun with Yukio. Have fun in Brazil, you need to shop for more scissors though, I didn't see any with curved blades. LOL Can't have enough...
I think they are for paper cutting. My sister brought me some back from China once. Kay
Looks as if you are catching up with the rest of us. Have fun in Brazil. Be careful in that area. Kay
Wow! Scissors for Yoriko! Hope you are having lots of fun withyour family!
That's a great collection! Have a safe journey to Brazil!
I am so glad you are no longer scissor deprived. Now make sure that you pack them where no security check points get a hold of them. Looking forward to pictures once you get home.
Thank you Angie, I will make sure to take more pics and share some of them when I get home.
What a wonderful vacation - it must have been hard to say goodbye to Yukio!! Love the scissors - I believe we cannot have too many of them!! Hugs to you and enjoy the rest of your vacation, Laura*
I am so happy to hear that Yukio is doing well in University! You both must be very proud! You have a great batch of scissors what will you search for in Brazil? Fabric? Have fun ~Hugs~
So nice that you got to spend time with your son...and Dennis will be thrilled that you have finally gotten more scissors!
Yoriko, I'm so happy you are getting to visit your children. It doesn't matter if they are 5 or 50 they are still our babies. It must break your heart when you have to tear yourself away when it's time to leave. I hope you are distracted enough to have much fun and I can see that some retail therapy has helped. Hugs!
It was sad to say goodbye to Yukio. I am ready for my trip to Brazil, in few hours. Hugs!
I am happy to hear you are enjoying your time with your son. I hope your travels will continue to be as wonderful for you.
You have a lovely assortment of scissors now!
Excellent! Looks like you got a nice selection of various cutting implements. Just what a busy crafter/sewer needs. Best wishes for safe travel.
Despite what our Dennis may tell you, I truly believe you can't have enough scissors. LOL!!!
Yukio must be a lovely young man by now Yoriko, it is good that you are spending some time together, please give him my best regards and my thanks, again. Enjoy your break away. hugs n love, Meg
PS, more photo's please..... :-)
Next time I want to buy the one I really liked, but it was very expensive.
Yukio is 21 now, he is happy university student, getting good grades and this makes me so proud of him. I cried today when we said goodbye to each other. I have difficult to upload the pictures to the computer, the device is not working properly. I will put picture when I get home in April. Love and hugs, Yoriko
It is so awesome you get to spend time with your son. Even though they are grown, we still love them as when they were little and it's nice to know the adult part of them. Love your new scissor collection! It reminds me that I need some new ones too. Brazil ought to be so nice and warm right now! Spring decided to wait awhile longer here in NY State as we're expecting 12 more inches of snow between today and tomorrow with bitter cold and blowing drifting snow.Brazil sounds wonderful right now! Enjoy yourself! We're looking forward to all the pictures when you get home!
Meri
Thank you so much Meri! I just can't help loving my sons, It is hard to say goodbye to them.
I love the pretty colored handles. Dennis will be happy to know you have more scissors.
I blame all you lot....................especially that Mrs. Rescuer for winding you all up! The lovely Yoriko was perfectly happy and content with her two pairs of scissors and has now been embarrassed into having to travel all the way to Japan and Brazil to buy more scissors so that she can keep up with the Jones's.
I was really happy with my 2 pairs of scissors, but happier now I have spares ones now, it was fun to shop for them. Hugs, Yoriko
Yoriko, I am so happy you had fun shopping for scissors. I am sure you will enjoy using them when you return home.
Dennis...LOL
Maybe you can get some more in Brazil! Splurge and get the pair you really want!
A great collection of snippers. I hope you are able to bring them home with you. Enjoy and have fun. I am sure you might find lovely material as well.
I will put them in my main suit case. I saw some lovely fabrics, but I didn't buy this time.
You certainly did get scissors. Be careful with them I find the more pairs I have the more I misplace them, it's easy to just pick up another pair instead of looking for your original ones. I had my very favourite pair thrown away once cos they fell into the waste paper basket in my sewing room hubby emptied it into the bin outside and them put the bin out for the refuse collections. After days of looking for them I asked him had he seen them and he told me where they had gone adding that he thought they were no use any more "why else would they be in the bin" can't tell u how angry I was but I got the message across to him and he checks everything with me now .
If they were your favourite scissors, you should have taken better care of them! Poor old hubby gets it in the neck just for trying to help. Poor bloke.............I know just how he feels!
Excellent - but you need more!
Did you get some good double curved ones for going over the hoop and snip under the needle? You NEED those :-)
I'm so glad you are enjoying yourself Yoriko. Love the array of scissors you've bought. Hope you get some beautiful fabrics as well. Love Chris
Thank you Chris, I was very happy to see my "baby" Yukio, and sad to say goodbye. I hugged him, and couldn' t help myself crying. I already miss him a lot. hugs, yoriko
