Welcome home Bev. Glad to hear that you have had a wonderful time and behaved yourself! I spent two weeks there a few years back over the Christmas and New Year and must say that it was like landing on another planet.......................no insult intended. Now I have to ask, did you do all the rides like Ann and I did........................................?
No way,I try to keep my feet on the ground. At the stratosphere they say you can eat your lunch and lose it all in the same place. I do believe I may have seen some aliens from that other planet.
Bev, so glad to hear you had such a good trip. Sounds like you had lots of fun. It is nice to see you back. There is never anyplace as good as home. Hugs, Mary
Sounds great! Welcome back. Did you go to the Forum shops at Caesars? There's a great chocolate shop and restaurant there.
I'm glad you had a good time. We used to have to go there yearly for the carpet markets. Vegas is another world unto itself.
Just outside of Vegas is Red Rock Canyon. It is so very beautiful.
Glad you are home safe and sound. My husband and I went to Vegas a couple of years ago. We agree that the people watching is like no where else on earth.
The experience sounds fun, I bet you're glad to be home though. A win would have been nice, lol! We're glad you're back!
So was it a road trip? I have a Chinese store near here and do not know what to buy or how to make anything.
yes 2270 miles round trip. I also don't know anything about Chinese cooking but am willing to try new things. I bought rice and seaweed and rice ball molds, green tea and noodles, chinese candy but no buttons as it was a grocery store. Go check out the Asian market,it's fun. First time I have ever been also,Prices were low. I was surprised, got a lot for my money.
Vegas sounds fun Bev, eyeballs or not! Buy egg roll wrappers and chop all your leftover veggies small (or just cabbage, onions). Spoon out on a wrapper, tuck in two opposite ends, roll. Dampen the "flap" of the envelope and seal. When all are made, fry in hot oil and YUM! Good with or without jar of sweet and sour sauce. Can add bits of leftover meat (sausage, chicken, turkey, shrimps, cooked beef), but not necessary. Chinese is cheap. Any body diabetic, PM me for sugarless Sweet and Sour.
sounds good, found some recipes on line, will play around and see what I come up with.I love eggrolls with plum sauce, now I'm hungry
What no new scissors? Nice to see you back and glad you enjoyed yourself
