Loralyes/pldc question about a liability tag got me thinking. Have you or anyone you know ever been sued over a product you sold. My opinion is people must use common sense, Of course they could get pinched in a jump ring or I'm thinking of making some stick horses. I don't think I need to add a tag saying "Caution.stick may cause a splinter" Any opinions? What do you think?

Just a thought, may be off topic, but when I see all the "side effects" listed on the sheet that a pharmacy gives with a medication, I am skiddish to consume it!! LOL
Trying to protect oneself against ALL risks in anything, especially crafts, is near impossible! So, I lean towards people using "common sense", and the good Lord protecting me!!
Hugs, Angel

No, I've never been sued, but if I ever am I do hope the judge is as wise as Solomon!
You might want to add that if it's put in or near a fire, it will burn.
It was painted with non-toxic paint, but should not be consumed.
Please don't eat the face or mane, it could cause blockages.
Will not support over 35 pounds.
Those are just off the top of my head, give me a few and I'm sure I can think of some more.

I like you idea. I can not think of the generic liability statement. something about entertainment purposes.
