Sue, these are lovely dolls. They appear to be in excellent condition. I like the brown suit one the best although I think my granddaughters would vote for the one in the fancy dress. :) I know you will find just the right home for them. Becky
they are beautiful sell them at a craft market or on ebay.
Lena
They are all beautiful, love them. You did a great job.
Hugs, Lidia
I have my mom's doll from the 1920's, found it in the cedar chest I got. Eyes still open and close on it. She received it from her grandmother because she was in a school play and needed one for that event.
Display purposes only, aren't they really. Maybe you can sit them up somewhere in your sewing room? Or there's always the dedicated doll collector, somewhere? That is if you can part with them.
Sue, here in Australia we have a Kids Wish Foundation for terminally ill children. (I'm sure you have the same thing in the UK). They would be glad to hold a raffle for your dolls as they are always looking for extra fund raising ideas. They are beautiful collectors items............Ann
Good idea, but this kind of doll isn't very popular here in UK at the moment.
Such beautiful dolls - how can you bear to let them go. I just love the one in the brown outfit.
Sale them to Lena she knits and dresses and sales them ????
They look lovely :):)Hugs Carolyn
Beautiful dolls and great job on the outfits. Fun memories if you choose to display, If you don't want them anymore then to family or someone that will love them.
These are very nice Sue! I would display them in an area where you can see them. Sweet dolls and sweet memories!
Sue they are gorgeous anyone would love them I would hate to part.
wow you are a woman of many talents, they are lovely ,I love the curly haired one
nice to bring some of our collections out of the closest. I love the little girl in the p.j. .
Beautiful dolls Sue. If you no longer want them why not try selling them on one of the auction sites, and donating the money to charity.
I've had a look on Ebay - they don't fetch much. I think they may go direct to the charity shop!
They are very nice Sue, if they are no longer wanted they could be passed on to another child or to a doll museum
They all are so nice, may be another, which collect too will be happy to get these beauties.
Oh Sue, these are splendid. The brown outfit is gorgeous, the lacy details in all are lovely and the facial expression of the bottom one is so cute!
Aren't lofts treasure troves.
We have just removed a collection of historic computers from ours. Next on the list is Kate's Lego and a box of Beano comics. I'm not sure that it is treasure!
We still have the BBC computer - all of 64 kB - with a cassette recorder for data storage in our loft. Youngest son wants it, He did his first game in Basic using the English manual, forced him to use a dictionary which was a good thing.
Does it still work - one of ours had a built in cassette player which failed.
