Question -- do you embroidery onto toilet paper it self??? If so how is it done please ?? SO CUTE
This is what I copied and saved from previous "cute" tips: If you google "embroidery on toilet paper", you'll find alot more. But basically, you just unroll a section of paper, (do NOT remove it from the roll) you'll be stitching on the 5th or 6th square from the end. Fold the loose end over so you've got 2 thicknesses on the block you're stitching, with some excess on either side (for hooping purposes) I used some lightweight cutaway, gave it a squirt of temporary adhesive & put my TP on it. Then just carefully hoop it, keeping your TP centered in place so the design will be in the middle of the paper. I imagine other stabilizer could be used instead of the cutaway if you wished. One tip - make sure you're stitching on the right side of the paper! In other words, when you go to roll it back onto the roll, that your design in on the outer side, not inside! (Ask me how I know this one...LOL!) Just make sure you've got some excess unrolled when you set the whole roll next to your machine, so that it doesn't get pulled around & torn when you're sewing. Once your design is stitched, I trimmed away some of the extra cutaway, then rolled it back onto the roll. Took a tiny dab of glue-stick to hold it in place so it wouldn't just fall unrolled so easily, but that was just my choice. Wrapped it up in some tulle & tied a ribbon on it. Cellophane gift bags work well too.
This one is so cute - I think a couple friends and I are getting together to make up some. Love the fresh lavender idea.
