Oh my goodness we up to 1000 quilts ,we are sooooo overwhelmed by the response, we know there will be some quilts left over ,and it has been decided to donate them to children s wards in local hospitals.I will add some more pictures tomorrow when we start to hang the next 700
There will be 800 happy and very greatful people receiving these.. Well done to all the quilters involved..

The world is still a wonderful place despite the 'nutters' who want to destroy it in the name of religion and greed. We need to see more of what selfless people contribute and I believe sewers/ embroiderers are always ready to lend a hand as shown here. i am flabbergasted!!!! i want them all or at least one of each single design! this is soooo nice and brings tears to my eyes!!! it is sooo nice to know of the good in the world!!! i donate to a domestic violence shelter.each child gets their own quilt when family is brought in. and donate to unmarried pregnat high schoolers thru our local coop/extension office in jasper, alabama,usa. thanks for the show.also went to the site of photos.WOW!
Down here in Mobile, AL our guild gives about a hundred quilts to Project Linus and have started on Quilts of Valor. Prior, we have given to hurricane victims. Quilters are a generous lot. Then there are pet beds for SPCA. On it goes.
Those ladies in AU have been so very generous.

Just another commentary on the beautiful hearts of so many in the world. I'm thankful to see these and know that there are so many people who give from their heart out there, we just don't hear from them as much as we do the bad that goes on ~ a pity.

What a wonderful blessing and gift of hope. I hope the quilters were blessed in the doing of this work, too. My friend who lost her house in a fire told me she would never want it back because now she knows how much people care and how loving they can be and she wouldn't trade that for anything.
