very nicely done Toggie they will really compliment the quilt
Definitely do the sham in denim. The blue will be a nice touch with all that red. Great job on it all Toogie, love Chris
I would really like to find the "Mr. and Mrs." can you help?? I can't seem to find my way thru the Sew Forum since they changed things.....
I Finally got in.. Guess I wasn't completely logged in. Had tried too many times - keptt telling me I wasn't registered, then wrong pw and too many times -so think was locked out. Went back the next day and started over & made it.
Great,I am happy you were successful this time.Show us what you make with it.I just finished the matching shams yesterday-Toogie
Wonderful! Where do you find the time to make all these beautiful projects? I need to get myself in gear!
Oh, Toogie, these look wonderful. So impressive! Yet understated.
This set just gets more wonderful every day! I like the idea of denim shams as they won't be washed as often as pillowcases. Let us know what you end up doing.
These lovely and perfect to go with your quilt, love the design.
These are perfect! You did a beautiful job! I love them, and if you're that ambitious, then sounds like you've got the shams figured out, whatever you decide it will be fantastic.
Now you didn't tell us how fun these were? Did you think you were a magician when you pulled out the case? lol! Be careful they are addictive, your grandies will want some too with cute kiddie fabric.
I rolled it back up and stuck it back through the sleeve,so I could show my SIL and daughter, when they dropped off the kids! Makes my SIL think I'm not so dumb afterall...at least once in a while-LOL-He really does like my sewing, guess that is why I have so much to do on my list-lol
Hahaha!!! That is funny! I work with a gal and I've been after her to make pillowcases too, she makes them but the regular way, I've toyed with the idea of just making one, and not pulling out the base yet, to take to work just so she can pull it out. Someday I will, lol!
Very Nice. I need to make some kind of pillow carrying case for when I go to hotels, I can't sleep without my own pillow!
they will be just right for the Denim Circle quilt. lovely
You did a wonderful job on them my friend! I like the idea for the shams in denim also. ~hugs~
I like the idea of denim with red shams. It would be a nice strong feeling for a guy. Love your pillow cases! I'm confused though. If he is a single guy, why the Mr. and Mrs.?
He is getting married in June. The denim, are mostly his old jeans, but I did get some from others.
Glad your feeling better. I love the Pillow cases and agree with you on the shams or if you can put together one side like you are showing quilt here as the gingham/jean side and other showing jean side. This is a gorgeous bed set for sure.
Pretty cases, what stabilizer did you use? I have not found the right combination to make the embroidery lay flat, even with starching.
I agree with you that denim shams with some red on them would look better than more gingham.

I just used tear-a-way,from Walmart.Thanks for the advice,that's my thought,also.
I am so sorry,I forgot to add the design info. The nice, Mr and Mrs, are from sewforum-bkytle.The beautiful, scroll, border design is from amazingembroidery-669122-17129.The pillowcase info came from the missouri star quilt company, from you tube, easy tube pillowcase.I did however, cut my white cuff larger (about 10 1/2 in) instead of the 9in,so the design would set in nicely,at least I think so.Thank each of you 13 Cuties that commented below.I appreciate your comments, but no one has suggested about the sham design.I do think the jean side needs to be up, on the shams,to break the red. What do you think?-......Remember, he is still single and this dust ruffle,is how he makes his bed-lol
Great idea and pillowcases with that underscore design super!
Great job, Toogie.......love the font and design under it.......
these are going to go sew nice with the quilt, they look so nice. LOL
Wonderful work on these. I love the color and fabric. Has the vertigo left yet?
A lot better, still a little dizzy at times.Sometimes I wonder if its not my low blood pressure, too.Maybe too low, can have the same effect about dizziness,as too high.???
I am glad to hear you feel better now.
Your pillowcases looks great and will perfect match the circle quilt
