First attempt at posting on projects! Made this around the world quilt for our caravan and have nearly finished another quilt incorporating embroidery.

Beautiful quilt.You did such good work. Did you use the strip set method or cut out . I took a class with the strip set and have made several quilts. A flower for you.

Thankyou nglover, I cross cut into 4" squares. I design colour pattern onto an excel spreadsheet, starting at the centre 4" square and then working around that square. The spreadsheet then tells me how many of each colour I need to cut. *4U

They have made a wonderful Quilt cover! The colour combination is especially nice! The edges are also sewed extravagantly! Only so further! Flowers for you

Thankyou mpo. The binding wasn't too bad, I did one side on the machine, then hand sewed the underside. A few hours to complete.

Keep on posting now that you have done it once. This is beautiful - well done, especially for that binding around all the points - phew!! We are also caravanners - I'll post my caravan quilt one day. *4U
