I made two slips for my daughter's god children, these will be to wear with their Easter dresses. I have never made a slip before But I thought of an idea ( I went to a second hand shop and found 2 new men's T shirt in white I needed 3 altogether so I also found a third but it had been worn some still look nice, this was to make one longer so added a ruffle from it.

these are just wonderful. You were very resourceful also. I have used batiste when I have done children slips. Great job

I have put them on early, go back a few pages, one is sheer dotted swiss, the other was a dark blue stripe.

Excellent idea! I love the idea of repurposed items too, saves on buying new when not so new can be just as nice. You never know what you can find at a thrift store or garage sale. You did a beautiful job and I bet they are going to be more comfy than the tricot fabrics.
