Good to see you love them enough to help them! It is sad that so many get left because they don't have the proper care. Congrats lol
Thanks.. So many people throw them out like trash for getting pregnant. It is not the cats fault... it is the owners fault. At least I give them a chance to get a good home.
I bet it sure keeps you busy !! they do are so cute aren't they.. Give them a hug from me Xxx Linda
Suzanne, I am so proud of all you do for the cats and kittens. You have made so many families so happy with their new pets that you have rescued. I can't wait for my daily fix on how all of these mamas and babies are doing.
You still have your hands full and no time for idle gossip for sure. Bless your heart and your work. I am recently confused on the subject since a new feral to the neighborhood is fighting with my beloved furbaby. I can feel 2 full claws under the fur on his head. I know Kitties have extra immune for this, however the situation makes me very nervous, especially since spring has just begun and he will be outside a lot more. We have 1 maybe 2 neighbors feeding an unknown number of kitties.
Be sure you cat is neutered. He will not get into fights is he is fixed. He will stay close to home. Watch that head closely. If anything changed take him to the vets quick. He should be on an antibiotic. Doesn't take long for a cat to go downhill. Hope he is OK. thanks Suzanne
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! i do some of animal rescue whenever i can. though coyotes here in the foothills of alabama still get them. and the big loose dogs also get the cats. hawks willl get the kittens. so my daughter and i do whatn we can. most recent rescue is a yorkie type dog with matted and diety hair running down the middle of the road.we stopped and opened the doors and she jumped in the car! lol! she new a good thing when it stopped for her.sincerely, lynne, keep up the good work.
Thanks you too! It takes special people to rescue and help out abandoned ,hurt , or feral animals.. Suzanne
Suzanne, You and Vicki are both cat rescuers. We don't ever see feral cats here in the mountains, I think raptors or foxes get them. I used to love the look on a momma cat's face when she gave birth. Don't you just love that look of pride and love? Thank you for neutering and providing a safe home for all those mommas and kittens. Oh, and don't you just love the smell of newborn kittens - right behind their necks??? Where do you live?
I live in Rhode Island... USA. I just love those litle fuzz balls. I always tell the mama's they have beautiful children. The mama's always look like they are in heaven when feeding their babies. I could watch it for hours. it never gets old!
