Tomorrow I will be hitting the road nice and early in my little motor home. It will be the first time i go somewhere new that is not a rally with friends i know. I need to do this to prove to myself that i can do it.Its not a big journey just 130 miles but for me it is the start of self reliance without my husband so is a huge step.
I am going to a camp site in North Wales called Shell Island. I have actually booked to go ther in April but decided yesterday to take off and try my wings so to speak as i will be in convoy in April and then meeting up with Sue dewsbury and a Asterix for a girly sewing weekend.I am excited and of course a wee bit aprehensive too as no electric other than the leasure battery on my motor home. I have cooking gas so no problem there and i know the place well as i used to take my children there for summer holidays in a tent. I hope the weather will be kind but i have plenty of blankets and two hot waterbottles and two little dogs so we will be snug. No sewing this trip but,,,,, I am going to crochet a rug for the Bambi from a single bed sheet... It will save the carpet from getting messed up by muddy doggy paws and the wheels of my wheelchair. I will be home on Tuesday ready for my linedancing class on Wednesday. I will show photos next week, so think of me and send me some prayers for a safe journey

Have fun and enjoy yourself. Looking forward to your pictures once you are back home. Having this trip "under your belt" should make it that your trip in April should be worry free or at least let you know what other items you need to remember on your trips. Hopefully this trip will all go smoothly with no worries. Most important is to enjoy and relax.
