You have done a lovely job on this bag well done L Sherene X
Looks fantastic! My sis is a fan of Vera Bradley, so I often pop by her website to look at her styles and accessories (pockets, where to attach things). It's great for bag inspiration. Love that the phone is separate and handy.
Das ist eine wunderschöne Tasche sehr praktisch ,so muss das sein
Auch der Stoff sieht ganz toll aus

"This is a gorgeous bag very practical, so must be
Also, the fabric looks really great"
Great bag and great job.. now that you have it all figured out the 2nd ans so will be a breeze ;-) thanks for the descriptions on the pictures
ttt-I have gathered flowers, for all of you sweet Cuties, for commenting on my bag.You have encouraged me...but not enough to make another anytime soon-LOL Thanks 'girls'-Toogie ps. this photo is for my reply to graceandham It has bamboo handles and vinyl too,the long straps I can remove.
Your purse is pretty too, both are perfect for spring. I'm sporting my black handbag, with grommets. It's a thrift store find, finally saw one who had one just like it at work, one of our customers and she had a scarf going through the grommets, so I guess mine came that way and never knew that. I may have to change bags soon, the black just doesn't speak spring.
My goodness, Toogie, this purse is awesome............I am in awe of those that can sew like this!!!
Looks like you fixed the alignment of the zipper , Great Bag
It wasn't the zipper,it was the whole pocket.! I was afraid when I ripped the pocket out of the trim seam,my zipper would come apart, since I had cut it,like we do ITH projects. Thanks for lQQking !
Wow !!!!!! what a lovely bag great job well worth the time.
Brilliant design, lovely fabric and lining, love all the pockets. well done, wish it was mine.
i love your bag. you chose great fabric and created a wonderful pattern. you should sew another one because it will be much easier and faster.
wow wow wow great job, ha wish i was closer i would definately love to have a bag like that!! Great Day Magda
Love this bag, are you going to share the pattern with all of us
Thanks
Toogie, Years ago my sis was having bursitis or some -itis in her shoulder. The doctor told her to take her purse home and weigh it (9 pounds) and cut the weight in half (4.5 pounds) forever. The -itis went away!
I don't this is 'going away' but it's a nice thought.I have moved already to a small size,I had before with a long strap,so I don't have to put on my arm.I love this bag,it has emb all over it,but it is wearing out (and dirty)-wonder if I could wash it on gentle in the machine.I may put a photo up and tell me if you think so.It's ok for the bus,but too soiled to go anywhere.Scroll up & down here,if I don't forget to photo it,you can see
Oh my Toogie you outdid yourself this is lovely hugs Carolyn
Wow, it turned out wonderful!! I love lots of pockets and I love a bag that isn't heavy all by itself (before it gets filled by me)!! Well done! Hugs, Laura*
It is gorgeous!!! Perfect in every way and I love it! You did such a nice job, don't you just love it!! The second bag should go faster, do you still have all the measurements? After all of that I can't see you falling out of love with it already and giving it away so soon. If you do another bag will you do the same pattern? See you're already doing a second bag, you just don't know which one yet. lol! Sorry Haha! I get carried away.
My greatest fear is we have one set of keys for the car, and if I put them anywhere in my bag different I go into panic mode trying to find them. The pockets you did solves that issue, it keeps things separated really well.
Hugs, sharon
What second bag?? What measurements???-I like pockets too, cause I like organization, just look at my sewing room (before-lol)!
I'll be glad to send you my address in a PM if you want to send it to me?
If I don't use it,I'll get that address-lol-uh,oh,I'm not making another soon, so you will have to draw straws, like momma used to make us 3 girls. One would do the dishes, one make beds and the other sweep, while momma sewed. She always wanted a dishwasher, but daddy told her she had three!-
The finished product looks lovely and no one will guess you misadventures, unless you tell. I was sure in the wrong ballpark, but that should tell you it wasn't noticeable except to you. LOL, Leaha
That's okay, don't you like guessing, tho? I knew it had to be ripped, just was tired that day and would have liked to get through.
It's beautiful! I absolutely love it! You did a fantastic job!
Congratulations Toogie on a great piece of work.
I forgot,I wanted to show the inside pockets, on the lining, before finishing. They are deep, and the middle is narrower for my reading glasses and hand stantitizer stick.
This is gorgeous! You have done such a wonderful job, I would love to try one too, I love the pockets to keep all those small bits, saves digging around for them all!
