Hey! Watch for the trails to open. There's one near us off the Alcoa Hwy. Friend lives on one of the roads so I'm going to have her give me a heads up when they are all at their peak. Love the redbuds that bloom along with the dogwoods too,.
281966910These are just so beautiful and would last a lot longer than the ones on the tree. My dogwood is doing poorly this year. They say something is killing off the dogwood in the South. I hope they are wrong. It would take me a long time to stitch enough of these to put on a tree. So beautiful and delicate looking.

Unfortunately, you are right. Something like a dogwood blight. People are planting new trees up this way, but some of the old ones are dying.

Yes, I think! Is supposed to be silk organza, however couldn't find any, so just used what was available. Had to use a new #11 needle, but they are well digitized so it works.
