If only I win the lotto, maybe I can afford one too...
Congratulations! I am sure you will be ecstatic for a long time.
This is beautiful. I have the Baby lock Ellisimo, which is the Quattro's stepsister. They're both great machines.
What a unique gift for the wedding party. Every time they look at the angel
they will recall the day. Sonia's designs are filled with love. I enjoy sewing them and sharing the finished product.
On another note.. this thread seems to have turned into a Quattro love fest. May I add ME TOO! In the year that I have had mine I think I have put on more stitches than in the years I had my 4500.
Something for the wedding party to treasure. Please don't take this as criticism but depending on the design, the stabiliser may pull in & details may not line up if stitching colours out of sequence. Dee
i love to stitch Sonia Showalter designs. She is a blessing to the business. Kay
Yes i will enjoy watching what you sew for us have fun and do u know u are blessed???Well u are Hugs Carolyn
I think if I had scrunched them a little closer I could have fit 8! There was a really good sale going on at the Brother store, and they worked with me very nicely. I am in sewing heaven and it is just a dream. Thanks for enjoying it with me!
NICE...I am glad you got the Quattro...don't you just love the camera and scanning capibilities...I have the sister machine...the Baby Lock Ellisimo Gold..I know you will love it for a long time...
Hi Jan I am with you I have had my quattro for just over a year now and I am still finding features love it to bits its my best friend and I am sure you will have many hours of enjoyment with it...soozie
Yes, the Quattro is a fantastic machine! I still marvel at all the features it has. I had a Janome 5000 before this one and hated everything about it. The hooping was always a nightmare, but the Brother's hooping is great. If you can swing it, go for the best machine out there! --Sandra P.S. There's a Yahoo group for Quattro users and they are very helpful.
i looked at a new quattro a couple of weeks ago & really like it. i like the tablet feature. i've never owned a Brother machine so my daughter brought hers over for me to play with. seems so much more economical than my Berninas..
Oh Definitely Beautiful...now I am really jealous of you...I keep looking for a good second hand one, I want this big hoop also...Which is the better machine folks the 12 X 8 inch or the 12 X 7 inch....there has been a couple on ebay lately, but it may be risky to buy without seeing them...just not too sure...Angels are lovely...
The suggestion is generally buy the biggest hoop you can afford (because most never regret having a bigger one and do regret having a smaller one). That said, the other features on a 12*7 machine or a 12*8 machine may guide you to one or the other (like cameras and jump stich cutting, etc.). The 12*8 machines generally have an 8*8 hoop option too - which is nice for in the hoop quilting (if you like that kind of thing).
I think you would get a better deal at the store buying a new one. They can offer great discount for trade in from the manufacturer, and give great deals on trade in. The trade in was anything with a needle! So, I took my 40 year old Singer and got $3000 off the machine. I'm going to sell my ULT as is on eBay.
congratulation,im jealous, always wanted a Quatro ,my Galaxy is 12 Years old.Well Mothers Day is coming up,there is hoping, hugs Ursula
Lovely! Stitch away, friend! I know your friend will love them!!
Aren't they wonderful, I LOVE my QUATTRO too. Beautifully done Jan, congrats. Love Chris
I love them! I know you are having fun with your new toy! I don't blame you, these are lovely.Six, in one hooping and in only 90 minutes! That 15 min each, how fast does this thing go????? I need to talk to you. They look fantastic!
So very very pretty!!! Enjoy that new machine!! Hugs, Laura*
When my Lil Brother grows up, he hopes to turn into a Quattro :P. Congratulations, I am thrilled you have such a lovely machine and are enjoying it. These are beautiful, btw. :) Leaha
Beautiful angels and happy for you to enjoy your new Quattro. The hoop bigger does help for making things like these.
