No one is buying ! Here in the south , the chevron cotton material pockets to sew on knit T-shirts are still the rage! monograms, Greek sorority letters and school mascots are popular. on them. I am still selling my infinity scarves in silk like and polyester fabrics. What else were people interested in?
I do hope that you do well at the big markets for Easter. I also wish I could get up there to see you and have a look around. I remember those magnificent autumn days when I lived at Verdun - it was just another world altogether. Your work is just superb so Easter visitors and tourists might snap up the lot.... keep hoping...... and keep hoping for more gorgeously perfect autumn Easter days.
AlmaG.
Alma. The leaves are turning now. They are all colours. Just starting to rain which we need. Back to my sewing.
Am sorry this happened for you, been there done; done that. :(
Don't get me wrong. I enjoy the venue with great company. I enjoyed the day sitting talking with friends and people. Just sad when you have to pack and then unpack with not taking anything. At least I made my stall fee.
Yes having the stall free is wonderful! It is as you lovely to chat and socialize, the lack of interest in crafts is the bummer. Especially as one works so hard and puts such love into what they do.
Hi Lyn, I'm sorry your market wasn't good. I hope it will be better next time.
I have this FSL Figure Staking, the new version has eyes and mouth. If you like it, I will add to my website.
Hugs, Yoriko
Thank You Yoriko, I will wait until the next Market and see if she comes back. I have had requests beforeand have never seen that person again, but will keep your Skater in mind
That is the one I was looking for! It was one of the first designs I stitch out and I forgot to use matching bobbin, so I had to stitch another in mirror. I knew it was DBC!
I am so sorry that the market was not a success for you. Perhaps next time. Sarah
This is my local. I could turn my car at the gate and almost just let it run down the hill. We are trying to build it up so feel obligated to go.
Yes I do, although it may take some time to find it. I will let you know ASAP. I think it was DBC?
oh that's a shame , Ice Skating must be very popular over in Australia as I send lots of items there from the UK :-)
How disappointing after your many hours of preparation. My Garden has FSL ice skates.
Lot's of skater's here two or three pages not sure if they are what you are looking for http://www.thredworks.com/contrib...
Sorry you had a bad day - I know just what it feels like!
Sue, Wasn't really a bad day. I enjoyed the day. Still took something to do. Plus the company of the other Stall holders is something I look forward Two. There are a couple of guys who are so cheeky and they treat me like a sister.
where are you?
Hi Suley, Lyn is from South Australia. Love Chris
P.S. A big Aussie welcome from me too.
I live in the Hills behind Adelaide South Australia. Chris used to live here as well, but before my time on Cute.
Oh no good if you had a stall. I thought you were getting ready for a big one at Easter time? I can't say I've seen a skater but someone may be able to help you.
I am doing a Market at the same venue of the Easter Market next week which is the usual Monthly Market and then at the same Venue the week after for Easter. I was hoping not to sell to much as I won't have time to replace items but was hoping to sell a little more than I did.
When nothing else sells, my kitchen or tea towels always seem to stand the stagnant times with a variety of motifs. They are the cheapest blank to stitch on. Kay
