This may sound a bit boring.
When my youngest left home, I had heaps of single bed sheets in almost brand new condition left and no beds to use them on.
The children were all sleeping on double or king single beds in their places.
I made a pile of pillowslips from one or two sheets.
Another sheet was cut in half and sewn to the end of two quilt covers - my husband pulls the quilt up fiercely when asleep and we end up with a quilt around our ears and no quilt on our cold toes!! So the half sheet goes under the mattress and the quilts now stay in place.
Don't recall what I made the rest into as it was some years ago.
use some of it to dress up the sheets at the top or make towels and add the border to the bottom .Great find i Love things like these hugs
I would wash 1 sheet and see how it feels and then if suitable perhaps a nice crisp linen shirt. Or even 2 one could have the lace as inserts and the other embroidered with white thread to give it a classy look.
Forgot the pics. Also you could make a tablecloth or a topper. This is a set of napkins and the heart was on a small pillow.
out of curiosity - how big is that napkin? The monogram is lovely but looks huge! The little heart is darling.
Both these designs are super and ones I have stitched out a number of times. They come in a variety of sizes
thank you for all the nice ideas - monogram looks very great. where is the design from?
What a great find.Anything you make will look beautiful on antique linen. But how about napkins or different size pillow cases(squares, oblong) with white embroidery. It's such an elegant look. But I am certain anything you think of will be suitable for your use.
What a treasure you've fond in that market. I loooooove flea markets myself. Enjoy you purchase. The ideas what to do with them will come to you
WOW! Lucky you! Would these be good for dinner napkins? Let us know what you decide to do.
Hugs, Nadyne
pillow cases, with beautiful heirloom designs and lots, lots, lots, of laces and ruffles!!!*******************
Wedding gifts to fulfill the "something old" for the bride with all that linen and lace. Lovely dilemma you've found yourself in. Smile
These are wonderful treasures. You can use the sheets for just about anything. It would make beautiful bags, runners, Christmas tree skirt. You are limited only by your imagination.
I find ti is always nice to walk around flea market. You never know what to find. I bet you can create lots of nice things with all those things. And if not.. I live in Belgium too. (Antwerp) Let's get together I'm sure we can exchange lots of ideas and tips !
What a FUN find!! I am clueless what to do but I know all the cuties on here are so very talented and will have some great ideas. Maybe a couple pillowcases with some very dainty embroidery designs... that's all I can think of right now. Good Luck and have fun! *flowers to all*

Looks like a day trip to Belgium might be in order...........................or an overnight stay and then I can have a beer or two.
What a super buy. In a magazine that I buy monthly there is a piece showing old linen sheets being used to make aprons. Have fun with these and look forward to hearing what others suggest you use the sheets for
