wow! You should be proud of yourself - it's lovely! What a beautiful lace pattern too - I haven't been brave enough to try this yet. My excuse is the cats think placemats and doilys, etc are like kitty skateboards on the tables. This is truly impressive.Great job!
Thanks so much. Hmm cats....maybe if you put a piece of the non-skid mat material underneath it wouldn't slide when your cats step on it.
This is just beautiful, something I have not tried either. It is on the to do list lol.. I love Sue Box Embroidery. I have lots of her designs. Used to buy all her CD's Have bought some off the Internet. Shirley
Thank you! I like the Sue Box designs as well, although I haven't seen anything new posted on her site for quite a long time. Don't know if she is still digitizing or not. I would love some new lace creations from her.
amazing what can be done with these embroidery machines. Great job!
Thank you - yes it is amazing. I, like other, watch as the designs come to life in the hoop. Never gets boring.
You must be thrilled as you have done an amazing job. So pretty.
this is truly a lovely piece of work. You did good...I like it lots...
I want one! This is gorgeous! Is it hard to line it up again? To keep re-hooping?
Well, you can have (make) one too. It was a bit of a challenge for me to align properly each time I had to re-hoop so that the lace "connected". Surely more practice will make it easier. My largest hoop is only 150 x 360 mm and I hooped a total of 4 times. Go for it - you can do it!
Gorgeous! I want to do this and with the straight edge, I am sure I can!
Love this FSL border by Sue Box and you have made a beautiful doily! What is the finished size?
Hugs, Lidia
Thank you Lidia, for your nice comments and for inspiring me to try one for myself. Your photo presentations are always gorgeous. Mine - not so much, as I am not so good with a camera. The finished doily measures approximately 13" x 15".
