I have a metro system and I mark cones that I seem to have trouble with, so if I have trouble again... for the most part metro does fine. I am not sure when trouble arises if it is thread or machine, I'm still guessing!
I haven't used (or heard of) these threads either. I would check the prices on Metroemb thread. Their prices are GREAT! Compare the prices. I have never heard a complaint about metroemb... and I use them a lot! Good Luck! Hugz back and flowers for everybody!
I don't know about these brands. I use MetroEmb.com threads and they have great prices - especially on sets. Many other Cuties use this with much success. I bought a couple of spools and tested right after I started embroidery. Loved it and bought the sets - it is been my primary thread ever since.
Hi I did buy these, I'm a beginner but they seem to be fine. The colors are beautiful. The only problem I can see is once you unwrap there is no slit to hold the thread . I used a small knife and make my own slits. I also bought a smaller set of 40 threadart they are horrible stay away from those they are 40 in a box. I bought from amazon. Like I said I am a beginner and I don't have a lot of experience with thread I have a small embroidery machine and I haven't had any trouble with using this thread. I have used it on Tshirts and the color has not faded. I would purchase it again. Amazon backs it's products, if there is something wrong they will let you return it and pay the return postage. There has to be something wrong though not just because you don't like it. Hope this helps.
Sorry you had problems with the thread from Threadart when I started and have had no problems with it - works great - I had bought the 100 spool kit on sale.
Sorry, I have no experience of either of these threads but hopefully someone will be along shortly who is able to offer some advice.
