I loved reading your responses to my good news. To answer the question of what did the doctor discover on my dizzies. I did have a crystal or crystals displaced. That was resolved very quickly. Unfortunately, I also had a viral infection in my ears that was missed. So there has been damage to the vestibular nerves. But PT has been very effective in teaching me to train my brain to not listen to the incorrect signals the nerves have been sending to my brain. It's great to look at a focal point and not have it moving so I can walk to it without weaving. I can even stand with my eyes closed for a minute and only wobble a little bit. She even has me walking backwards for a short distance. I can't wait to see what she has me doing today. It is so exciting to go twice a week and see progress each visit.

Good for you! It is no fun being dizzy and light headed most of the time. I had a bought of it myself several years ago. They finally discovered my thyroid meds were too strong and they adjusted the dosage to a lower one. Since then things have been fairly good. It doesn't help that three of the meds I'm on all claim to maybe cause dizziness! So happy for you that things are improving!

It is such a challenge when you cannot stand up without falling over if your eyes are closed. Failing a traffic stop test is no good either. I am glad you are getting better and the world has stopped spinning all the time.

Delighted for you to hear this news. Onwards and upwards is the way to go. As a special treat for being a good girl, you may take yourself out when you are back driving and treat yourself to those replacement scissors...................Yippeeeee.
N.B. I am betting you will find the missing scissors the moment you return from the shop with the new pair......lol

Great news - and wishing you much progress. It is such a relief if y ou
yourself can work on the therapy in order to make your body behaving as it had done before you got sick. It gives you the feeling it is also a bit your control and decision- keep on working for your health!
But relax a bit over Easter holidays :-)
