The grass is finally showing some green in MN. Just a few small mounds of snow here and there. Sun is shining and in the 50's.
I think you are farther along than we are. We still have huge piles of snow, and only a little dirt is exposed under the clusters of trees. Come spring, come!
It's finally looking like spring here too in Northeastern NY State...it's 8:30 PM and 61 degrees!! We have pretty much gotten rid of our snow but not without some major flooding and rivers and ponds overflowing their banks and dams giving way in some towns and counties. We fortunately didn't have any damages here in our immediate area. YAY SPRING!!!!
I grew up in upstate New York. The Spring and Fall bright clear days were so wonderful, it is the rest of the days I fled from. lol! If you live near a river or stream, it is definetly a sand bag spring.
It has been a long snowy winter lots of places this year, spring is here, I hope!
So glad you could join the rest of us in spring time! :) Canada you are next in line!
Also in northern Minnesota, we got to be outside to a beautiful day for Easter egg hunt and the robins are home singing beautifully. still piles of snow, but is going down fast! LOL And I can also smell it!
I haven't seen a robin yet... Last year they arrived too soon, we had a blizzard and they starved. So wait, please robins, for the right time ...
LOL, Jan, love the pic......we are entering into spring as well, was 80 degrees yesterday and here last week we had a dusting of snow!
Yea! I am loving the baby leaves and the budding trees. I Love Spring!
