I'm looking for an ITH design of a little Sewing Kit... maybe with a zipper, or a snap closure, or velcro. Maybe quilted.... Does anyone know where I can find one? Has anyone designed one already? I just want to take the basics with me in my purse, so I'm never without a little pair of scissors, a couple of buttons, some basic thread and hand sewing needles, and maybe a needle threader... Wouldn't that be purrrrrfect? Thanks for your help, my dear Cute friends!

This is one of mine which is quite useful.
If the link misbehaves, just type sewing into the search box. Yoriko currently has a membership sale as well!
I'm working with Internet Explore at the moment so I can't add a picture.

Hi, This is what I would use. Also from secretsofembroidery, and nicely closed with pockets inside, called "Floral Lace Sewing Organizer".

I'm lazy, I use ITH whenever I can...

I love ITH too - not lazy, I just like the perfection of the design and love watching the puzzle unfold! That is a cute one on Secrets too!

I think ITH is a wonderful way to make things - one machine, one project, all in one! I do believe ITH is the most efficient way to make things. I used to be a programmer, and there you look for the shortest, prettiest and most efficient way to do things - I brought that attitude to my digitizing! If I use the word "lazy", read "someone with a programmer's attitude".

Also embroidery garden has an owl and Ladybug ITH sewing kit too.

Choose the ITH option in the main menu of the yummy factory, it is the very last design. (5x7)

The owl and ladybug sewing kits does not close properly for travelling, I would keep it in a ziplock case.

Sorry, I see now the one from yummy factory is also open...

Jan I'm pretty sure Pauline or Monica would know where to get one but Pauline is away in Queensland right now so she may not see your post or may not even have her laptop with her. I have sent her a message for you.

Monica may see this post today if she is home.

I'm sorry but I don't do ITH designs as I consider they are more trouble than they are worth, consequently I never take any notice of them. To me it is far easier to just embroider the fabric then make the article in the normal fashion. :-)

Good luck with your search. hugs n Love, Meg

Thanks, Meganne, this is almost what I'm looking for. I may need to design it myself and then share with everyone!

I think ITH designs are fun to do and quite easy as the instructions are very clear. G
