Some thoughts about retirement which made me smile:

How many days in a week?
Answer: 6 Saturdays, 1 Sunday

What's the biggest gripe of retirees?
Answer: There is not enough time to get everything done.

Why don't retirees mind being called Seniors?
Answer: The term comes with a 10% discount.

Among retirees, what is considered formal attire?
Answer: Tied shoes.

What is the common term for someone who enjoys work and refuses to retire?
Answer: NUTS!

Why are retirees so slow to clean out the basement, attic or garage?

It's so true. My list of things to do (embroidery of course) only grows longer. As someone told years ago, we can't die until we finish all of our projects. Hmmm, can I get everything done and all of my resources used up by the time I am 150?

HA HA HA! Well at least Ann is not in your man cave! Trev and I both have "our own room" - he who must be obeyed has a study and I have the master bedroom!! (Mine is bigger!)

dennis999 by dennis999 22 Apr 2014

In my case the garage IS the man cave.................all habitable rooms are out of bounds to me!!!!!

I thought the penultimate questions was that once the basement, attic, garage etc. was cleaned out, the kids would move in............ he he he!

Love it! We had a friend who said that after he retired, he got up with nothing to do all day and still couldn't get finished by day's end.
