What a great idea! I keep forgetting about making rugs for my dollhouse! You did a great job...I'll have to try my hand at rugs! Aren't dollhouse fun?!!! I love mine, but it is taking up way too much room now...thinking about selling it, but that is a very hard decision. Anyway, your looks fabulous!
WOW, WOW, Wow! absolutely beautiful so far! I know those are a lot of work, but so fun and very addicting once you start. I bought a kit at Joanns years ago. I built it, (for myself !!) and spent many nights without going to bed, cos I just wanted to "finish one more thing" I only have one son, he is grown now, but no grands yet. No excuses for building a dollhouse, but who cares! It is for me!! lol. Please post pics when you are done!! ***Flowers for all***
This looks fabulous. What did you use for the light shades? they look so cute...
That's ok that you bought them, I didn't even know they existed. I've seen furniture & other bits & pieces but not the lights. You can't make everything yourself...lol
well done beautiful work those round embroidered coasters make nice area rugs .

It's lovely and a credit to you. Is your tatting with a shuttle or does it use a long "needle". I have been able to do the needle tatting, but the shuttle is way too difficult. (but much more dainty)
No I do the shuttle one. I did it years ago, just have to get the hang of it again.
Great work. I have always wanted a dolls house too. Maybe when I'm older LOL Shirley
An amazing undertaking! Well done. I love the floors & the gingerbread trim too & the bow windows! ~hugs~
Aren't you the most talented person! Looks wonderful. I bet all of us have dreamed about one like this.LOL
What a Stunning project!!Great work already done on it..Would love to see end product!!!!Well done
This is a wonderful project! Thank you for showing us
Lique, it is incredible! How much fun is this! I love the runner!
Beautiful with some lovely touches will look fab when it is finished
Gorgeous! Is it for yourself or for a little girl? And the patience to create all those little things... Well done!
Hopefully under supervision, I would hate for something to happen to it! I would keep it for myself and put it somewhere I can see it a lot.
This is one of the many nice things about the Cute website, that you get to see such a variation of projects, so I thank you Lique for posting this.
The downside is that it has reminded me that Ann has a large dollshouse kit which I agreed to build for her many moons ago. The boxes remain in the cupboard to this day, so I had better add it to my "To Do" list and re-arrange the priorities!
I have already made some furniture but I think the lace curtains are beyond my skills....lol
Come on Dennis... Get to and make up that dolls house for Ann.. Use some of those screw drivers you have stashed away. lol............. Shirley
My goodness, what I wouldn't give to have this talent......beautiful work!
I have a dolls house with lots of hand made lace and hand embroidery but I haven't got round to any ME yet. You have inspired me!
You are amazing me today! I got my DIL- to- be a doll house, and I would like to make more things for it. I made a rug and quilt for bed.
I have about 4 projects on the go! A crochet quilt, a hand embroidered simple rug, a lace edging with bobbins and I am attempting some tatting! These are all things I can do in the evening .
