What alovely job you have done a work of art love it
Love the colours and would like to try and make one. What is the width of the strips?. Have quite a few left at 2 and a half inch and wonder if I could use them. Thanks for showing
Thanks. You can use any width you like. The original pattern uses 1.5 inch strips but mine vary a little between 1.25 and 1.5 inches.
here is the pdf for this terrific case. You will have to add all the wonderful extras that she has done here
Thanks for adding the link, now everyone can easily get the free pattern that inspired my case.
I like it better without the button. It is a job well done an so pretty.
Love it! Well done. My preference is to leave it without button, as there are so many colours already, it's beautiful as it is.
Hugs, Lidia
You did a fantastic job. And there isn't another one like it in the entire world. :)
Very cute, I love your fabric choices! I like it both ways, beautiful! Is your case in the hoop or sewing pattern? It looks like a kindle 3 which is what I have. It is great to carry, I read it at lunch at work or riding along in the car, excellent device!
Thanks. Made it the old fashioned way on the sewing machine. I do love my Kindle.
I Love it & the red button! You did a wonderful job on this & very personal too with the paper & pen & extra pocket just a lovely practical piece! ~hugs~
A very well thought out piece! Where ever did you find such a terrific pattern for this?
Thanks. The inspiration came from Moda Bake Shop. They have free patterns. Search for "Bookkeeper". The rest is my design, I just added as I went along.
